National Parks of Emotion Art Lab with Reimagine

I’m running another introductory National Parks of Emotion Art Lab to welcome new people to the project as part of Reimagine, “a nonprofit organization that draws on the arts, design, medicine, and spirituality to transform taboo cultural attitudes around death and grief, and to address the inequities surrounding how we live and die.” I love all of the ways that Reimagine does this, through festivals and hosting virtual experiences that “help make the world more human and connected.” The mission of the National Parks of Emotion fits right in.

I’ll lead you through the guided meditation that inspired the project, and teach you how to share your stories with me. I’ll also teach you how to make great abstract photos of the landscapes of the national parks of emotion you've been visiting, although you’re welcome to submit stories alone. Meet and connect with other participants through discussions, and get support and encouragement in the creative process.

Everyone is welcome, including teens and kids with adult supervision. You don’t need to consider yourself an artist or writer at all, you just have to be open to playing, taking chances, and collaboration. Previous participants always welcome too.

If you want to participate in the project, but can’t attend this Art Lab, you can make and submit a national park without participating in or watching the Art Lab if you’re eager to get started.

You must register on Reimagine to receive the Zoom link and attend. Hope to see you there!

National Parks of Emotion March Art Lab

The next live National Parks of Emotion Art Lab will welcome new people to the project and invite returning participants to keep going with me. I’ll lead you through the guided meditation that inspired the project, and teach you how to share your stories and create great abstract photos of the landscapes of the national parks of emotion you've been visiting. Meet and connect with other participants through discussions, and get support and encouragement in the creative process.

Everyone is welcome in the Art Lab, including teens and kids with adult supervision, and you don’t need to consider yourself an artist at all. You just have to be open to playing, taking chances, and collaboration.

If you want to participate in the project, but can’t attend this Art Lab, add yourself to my mailing list  and I’ll let you know when the recording is available. You can also make and submit a national park without participating in or watching the Art Lab if you’re eager to get started.

You must register on Eventbrite to receive the Zoom link and attend. Hope to see you there!
